I picked up my windsurfing addiction during the longboard era, made my way from great big floaters to torpedo-shapes like Starboard's Cobra and BIC's Vivace, even piloted a full-carbon Phil McGain custom for a few years.
These days I surf (semi-)sinkers when conditions allow, such as during the NE monsoon in Mui Ne, Vietnam. However, here in Singapore, my trusted Falcon 104 has plenty kick during our own NE monsoon, as well as our infamous SW squalls.
Engine-wise, KA sails give me absolute maximum performance, lightning acceleration and optimal power at fingertip-lightness. Yet, in spite of these high-octane properties, KA sails, both cammed and non-cammed, are generally easy to rig, they're mast-brand independent and, best of all, they take plenty of abuse. These sails are fast, yet built to last.
With years' worth of watertime, I can translate your windsurfing needs, your wishes and your budget into the ideal KA quiver.
If you'd like to contact me, perhaps you're planning a trip to Singapore, by all means drop me a line on +65 90079345. You're welcome to swing by the East Coast and have a closer look at the KA sails we have here.
